Enhanced Care, Community Housing

Community houses provide a setting which encourages individuals with complex mental health needs to lead a full and valued life, enabling them to live more independently. This is achieved through a programme of active community engagement, development of meaningful social networks, management of risk and development of robust coping strategies. All our community houses are specifically designed to provide individual bedrooms with en-suite facilities replicating an ordinary living setting.

Community-based provision supports adults of all genders who have ongoing needs, risks and complexities. The houses are for people who are difficult to place in supported living and generic registered care services but who do not require an inpatient hospital setting. The care embraces and balances the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice.
